OVERVIEW
Discover the hidden history of Prague on this 4-hour tour focused on Operation Anthropoid and the Czech resistance during World War II. Led by an enthusiastic English-speaking guide, you’ll visit key historical sites like the Ďáblice Cemetery, where mass graves and memorials honor the victims of both WWII and Communist repression. You’ll also explore the Kobylisy shooting range, the site where many members of the Czech resistance were executed by the Nazis.
The tour includes stops at Heydrich’s Curve, the location of the 1942 assassination of Nazi official Reinhard Heydrich, and a monument dedicated to the brave teenage girl who helped the assassins. You’ll visit St. Cyril and Methodius Cathedral, where Heydrich’s assassins made their final stand, and the National Memorial to the Heroes of the Heydrich Terror, which houses an exhibition about this dramatic chapter in history. This tour offers a powerful look at the courage and sacrifices made by the Czechoslovak resistance.
